“All this will not be finished in the first one hundred
days. Nor will it be finished in the first one thousand days
. . .nor even perhaps in our lifetime on this planet. But
let us begin.”
President John F. Kennedy
The save nola story:
On the heels of Hurricane Katrina, several New Orleans
evacuees found a way to help rebuild their city. With a
desire to help raise funds to build homes where so many
were lost, save nola sportswear was born. The items are
created, made and promoted by a group of native New
Orleanians who lost their homes and personal
possessions. 100% of the net proceeds will go to
organizations dedicated to building, rebuilding or
“greening” homes in New Orleans. The New Orleans
affiliate of Habitat for Humanity is one such
program. We are proud to support their unprecedented
effort to build homes and restore our beloved city.
Additionally, Global Green is working to create a safer,
sustainable environment for the city’s future. We are
proud to be working with Global Green and to
assist in their unprecedented efforts. Together, we will
save nola.
We are proud to announce the building of another home
for Habitat for Humanity. Thanks to all who have
purchased items and made this home possible.
Please visit
our wearable's page and support the rebuilding of homes
in and around New Orleans.
Corporate
Partners:
“make a difference with everyday
purchasing. Hundreds of retailers –
including Amazon, Gap, Macys, and
Target, will contribute to save
nola when you access their sites
through our eMall. You get the same
products for the same price through the eMall, but now, your shopping can
support our cause at the same time. The
average retailer contribution is 3% and
the highest is 15%. You’re going to shop
anyway – why not make every purchase
also raise money to help New
Orleans? Just add the link as a
favorite, and use every time you shop!”
